   Thanks for that, I'm planning on taking a break between each book as I think   
   4 of them in a row may be a bit much.   
      
   I've got The Hero With a Thousand Faces, but I've never picked it up, I may   
   try that after Primitive Mythology.   
      
   Thanks for the tips, and if you can think of any books that you consider   
   essential reading?Could you list them? I'm just finishing the Odyssey and I   
   think that I may order "The Kalevala" next, or I could try re-reading "Tales   
   of Ovid" by Ted Hughes, or even his translation of "The Oresteria"
