   Thanks for your attention to Gibson's portayal of Christian   
   scripture and how his interpretation varies from the earliest   
   extant texts. Such propaganda has the potential to be explosive.   
   Reframing and repackaging portrayals of great religious figures   
   is news. Coverage of the variation in global Christ imagery has   
   been inspirational. Other Christians (Gnostic, Eastern Orthodox,   
   Quaker) say differing things about Jesus and his followers.   
   Newsworthy alternatives might be: Why does a god depicted as   
   arranging his own (or his son's) crucifixion REALLY suggest a   
   cannibalistic commemoration? Who was REALLY behind the "satanic   
   ritual abuse" witch hunts and the more recently-revealed   
   molestation of children by Christian clergy?   
      
   And from a broader cultural spectrum: are sorcerers (boko)   
   REALLY part of Voodoo? Did Gotama Buddha REALLY teach that   
   there is no soul? Was Lao Tzu REALLY 80 years old at birth?!   
   Let's get to the FACTS on religion! Thank you.
