   duuno; don't care. here's why:

   moses "cool, a burning bush!"
bush "hey, wanna free your people from slavery and rule them yourself?"
moses "sure, what do I have to do?"
bush "go tell the pharoh to release your people or you and I will rain on
   his parade"
moses "works for me so far; what exactly does each side get out of
   this?"
bush "I promise to make sure you all get away, and get to this land
here. you guys all follow my 10 rules."
moses "hmm... okay, my part is to free my people and lead them to this
promised land. on the way we pick up your rules, after we're free. we go
from slaves of a man, to freedom, to being slaves of a voice and a
bush; but I'm in charge after you, until I die, right?"
bush "that's about the size of it.
moses "okay, sounds good. hey, what's your name?"
bush "uhh. let's not go there. consider me a means to an end."

the exercise of power is both good and bad. it is for me to decide if it
was good or not. moses was perhaps a better ruler than pharoh. matters
not how he got there. maybe the voice behind the bush had evil intent,
maybe not. maybe all moses achieved was just parlor magic. moses
didn't seem to have an evil intent, except to another man who had made
slaves of people. that's what matters, IMO.
