   Recently, a script from whyzard arrived, in which they said:   
      
   : I think you mean THX. That's short for thanks. "Ta" means goodbye in   
   : english.   
      
   ITYAT of "ta-ta", a London slang term for good-bye. "ta" is a fairly   
   common English colloquialism meaning thank you.
