   I just saw "Apocalypto" a few hours ago. It was much better than I   
   expected from the general buzz -- but I suppose the buzz was   
   tainted by Gibson's critics. In fact, it was a very fine film   
   indeed. It deserves an Oscar, but it has about as much chance of   
   winning one as seeing penguins in Somalia.
