I agree when you seem to say Jesus didn't exist as such but was an       invention representative of some things that were happening there at the time.        My view is that after the doomsday prophecy failed, the remnants of the cult       were still vociferous and a force to be reckoned with, and that Paul was a       Roman stooge employed to 'tone down' the early Christians. Later, Constantine       rewrote Christianity to        impose a universal state religion to maintain stability.                            =============================================================       >        > > ..... the sudden demise       >        > > of the Etruscan civilisation in central Europe to be replaced       >        > > by the embryo of Rome amid environmental chaos. There's nothing unusual about that.              ====================               > It's unusual and probably impossible. I am by no means an export on that; if it's actually       >        > true i'm afraid i need a lot of evidence to be convinced.              ==================================================================               Don't forget that human babies are often given cows' milk exclusively for       months, so the idea of a baby surviving on dogs' milk alone is believable.               The best known recent example of a child being raised by animals is the case       of Oxana Malaya in Ukraine. She's an adult now and the case has been       re-evaluated by a serious psychologist, who is convinced she could not be       acting. Witnesses in several parts        of Ukraine confirm her story. It seems she had already got through infancy       when she joined the dogs, but her story is still highly illustrative.       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyqbnDjId7g                       --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
