I do however fear the amerikan nightmare of       kapitalism run amok. The kind that created global warming and is destroying       Inuit homelands. They were warning us years before it became chic. I fear for       my Native forests, salmon        that they will be forced into extinction by GE trees and GM salmon. Let's       battle the windmill of communism or Muslim terrorists and ignore real problems       and the real battlefield. Then we'll all be extinct. Problem solved.                     Yep, one could call it a "knee-jerk reaction", but it's no different than the       knee-jerk reaction that occurs whenever someone says anything negative about       Communism. But, hey, if you think that your own individuality or personal       dreams mean nothing, and        that your soul isn't yours, and that no one has a right to their own special       relationship with spiritual reality, then yes, i guess Communism is for you.       If you think indigenous traditions and lifestyles are flourishing in Communist       nations, you should        probably look again. Communism should supposedly be self-sustaining, but is       it? No, it's the ultimate eater of individual souls who are all forced to the       bottom of the food chain where they can share droppings from the overlord's       table equally.               No matter how many times you insert a 'K' into America or Capitalism to       insinuate that it's all based on KKK ideology, it doesn't magically turn       Communism into a figment of someone's imagination. I know survivors of       Communism who would take offense by        the suggestion that responding to it as a real thing is like chasing       windmills. And now you're saying that Muslim terrorists fit into that category       as well?              Yes, Monica, i guess you could say i have a knee-jerk reaction to Communism.       I'm going to keep on having it, and there's nothing wrong, immoral, or       criminal about that. Also, i don't have an itch for violence, and can't       support hate directed toward any        one race of people, irregardless of how rage can give birth to hate. Hate is       an open door to the dark side, but i think you might already know that.               You can continue to post passive-aggressively to avoid responding directly,       but it doesn't change anything. I love and respect Native American people, but       i have a certain level of suspicion toward activist 'leaders' who don't seem       the least bit        threatened by Communist or terrorist ideology. It could only mean that       indigenous beliefs and spiritual practices are being sold out to a one-world       'belief system' in exchange for having more control over the ecosystem. I feel       that it's entirely possible        that *some* of the activist leaders are not being truly forthcoming with the       people they're claiming to represent. If you can convince me that Communism       would have no negative effect on Native Americans, then i will consider it a       "non-issue" on alt.       native.               Otherwise, love-based knee-jerk reactions, absolutely.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
