Excuse me for not having my "brain switched on". I've       recently suffered the loss of two family members (both young, one suicide, one       struck by a car while        walking), and then my husband of a sudden heart attack in February. Your       philosophy of "my way or get nuked" doesn't impress me much at the moment. I'm       already in deep mourning and living in survival mode. Death feels like a       constant companion.              But you know what i've been thinking about lately? Something that used to get       discussed here very frequently, the idea of looking ahead for Seven       Generations. Unlike you, i have a lot of grandchildren to think about. And i       want them to have the freedom        to think for themselves rather than every little move they make being dictated       by a complex system of societal laws - which seems to be where "society" is       currently headed. Every single time you say "white man" and talk about cities       needing to be nuked,        you turn your lawmaking system into a fear-based system.               And a heartless one at that.               Sorry, Dutch Man, but that's how i feel about it, and that's how i read it,       with brain fully *activated*.               --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
