My mom and her family were from Darien, Georgia, and I grew up with great       stories about him. He had a curio/antique shop on hwy 17 in Darien. In the mid       60's, my grandfather and grandmother and aunt moved into that place and       renovated. I have a book from        his shop that tey found. It was a book of George Barnes, with articles and       realestate transactions and pictures of Mr. Barnes. Somewhere in storage, I       have a sugar bowl from his shop that was a famous first lady's.       Anyway, my mother was so enamored with him she kept this stuff and passed it       down. Oh, she had also done research on him and he was in Buffalo Bill's Wild       West show when he was 12, I believe. Perhaps that was the traveling show that       landed him there. My        mom's fam8ly's name was Ryal's and later in the 60's, Kinnett.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
