|    Pink Chanterelle?    |
|    12 Nov 05 21:22:41    |
From: docmaas-nospam@yahoo.com              What a year for chanterelles around Fort Bragg, CA.! Today while       walking up an old logging road I came upon a bunch of pinkish       Chanterelles. They look a little different from the ordinary yellow       and quite different from the whites as well. They are however about       the same size as the yellows and have the same growing habit.              Anyone else run into pink chanterelles?              Boletus areus are also starting to appear. Unfortunately I have to       leave next week for a couple of weeks and will likely miss the best       part of the boletes.              Starting to see a few more shrimp russula also. And there are a       number of waxy caps out. A few candy caps and some other lactarius as       well.       remove "-nospam" from email to reply              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
