   No, these aren't oysters. It's Panellus serotinus, rather common in   
   late autumn. Very young fruitbodies are slimy, and sometimes   
   completely blue.   
   It's an easily recognized species, with its short, velvety, greenish   
   stem and apricot-coloured gills.
