I don't know any Inocybe with such small spores       > as 5-6 x 4-5 microns (not even Inocybe microspora).              You know Irene, let's just call it I. grammata. I forgot what you       suggested because the name is totally new to me, then looked around on       my own, saw I. grammata, came back and see that's exactly what you       suggested. And that's the closest, visually. Re-measured the spores,       well I'll revise that to 6.2-6.7 x 5.5-6.2 because I didn't quite       measure the diagonal length, but all of the wishful thinking couldn't       help me see the size of up to 8 m (from Roger Phillips' book). And       considering that I'm not paid to do that, well, I'm satisfied (for       now).              Now can I pass you the other 60 specimens I haven't ID-ed yet?       Actually I'll work them up to a point because it's so easy to get       lazy. Although that right now I find more than I can process...              Regards,               D.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
