From: docmaas-nospam@yahoo.com              Tried entoloma bloximi last night along with pigs ears (gomphus       clavatus I've seen something else with the common name of pigs ears as       well.              Both were quite good. The entoloma was very fresh but the gomphus       was little old.              My wife fixed up about a tablespoon of each in the microwave. She has       always used a frying pan in the past but this worked quite well. She       put a little oil and garlic into a bowl and preheated it then cooked       the mushrooms in that.              I see that bloximi is supposed to be edible but I had asked before if       anyone had tried it and got no responses. Now I have and it wasn't       bad. We have a lot of them around our land here in Fort Bragg, CA.              Mike       remove "-nospam" from email to reply              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
