   Slime molds are actually very interesting.   
      
   They have no cell walls.  They are like flowing protoplasm in one form   
   and then when nutrients or H2O run out they form a spore mass like a   
   fungus.   
      
   When looking at the flowing protoplasm under the dissecting scope you   
   can see it flow through channels all over.  If you watch carefully you   
   will see it is all flowing in one direction and every once in a while   
   it will switch directions.
