   jill, Thanks, it's almost all dried up now. It was just a case of two   
   unknown bites (probably a fly of some kind) getting a poisonous plant added   
   to it.   
   A lot of sun and bathing lets the body heal itself.   
   Its been hot and humid a lot, so it's easy to forget the basic long sleeves.   
   With the ticks being attracted to some more than others, you are absolutely   
   right. I am a 'tick magnet'. (no pun intended)
