            There can be some mycology going on in pigeon's droppings. It   
   can be pathogenic (meaning that they occasionally will grow in people   
   producing illness of various degrees of severity) though I don't think   
   that illness from this is at all common. I doubt that it has any   
   relevance to Alzheimer's.
