   Surprising, usually mushrooms growing on maple are very good.   
   I guess the ying and yang didn't balance.   
   Was the growing environment different, for example, a couple of hot dry   
   days?   
   Maybe you could cook it like 'blackened chicken', I think then maybe the   
   sugar would be good. tehe
