   Interesting exchange.   
   Foraging is not going out and gathering all that you find. Farming is   
   gathering all that grows in your field.   
   Foraging mushrooms is also an excuse to observe plants and animals in   
   different environments.   
   I used to 'monoculture' farm grain crops and diversity of nature in   
   gathering (foraging) is much more appealling to me.
