   I learned from repeated experience that there really is no good   
   substitute for fastidious aseptic technique when growing psilocybian   
   mushrooms.  Use of peroxide is obviated if you keep your cultures clean   
   and within proper environmental parameters.  Eventually you can grow   
   enough healthy spawn to inoculate bulk substrates like pasteurized straw   
   or composted horse manure and never have to worry about contamination   
   again.   
      
   Having said this, I'd still recommend you try the technique if you think   
   it is right for you.  And let us know your findings.
