   Thanks for the reminder that all those that forage for mushrooms need to   
   refresh their 'due diligence' with regard to what they eat.   
   This is not the first time that I have read of these 'poisonings' in this   
   forum. It seems be a problem that cannot solve itself and will continue as   
   long as people are hungry and attempting to reap a harvest from 'Mother   
   Earth'. Unfortunately, it does not happen in just economically disadvantaged   
   locations. One of the cites was from British Columbia and in the last year   
   there were three kidney failures attributed to mushroom poisoning in   
   SC...one resulted in death...   
   The real question that your post should initiate is :   
   Should we as a forum care enough to do something about the problem?   
   or   
   Should we just lean back and say "It's not my problem!"?   
      
   Might Gunilla have some ideas?
