From: dave_scenik7@verizon.net These photos were all from the same large cluster (about 30 in. (75 cm) across). they were growing under white pines over what I'm fairly sure was a white pine stump just beneath the surface of the ground. These were in suffern, NY which is in rockland county of southern New York State.
