   Very dry here too, in Virginia.  Very scant pickings during most of the   
   season.  It is especially and uncharacteristically dry now, dusty dry.   
   Haven't had *any* rain for weeks.  Lately, the days have been cloudless   
   and hot.  Very poor year so far.  Would love to see a hurricane or   
   tropical storm bring us rain before the season is over.
