   I find A. subrufescens much earlier in the season.  I've never found it   
   this late on the east coast (Virginia).  It tends to be *very* yellow,   
   and has a *very* strong aroma of almonds.  I find it in early July.   
   And, the cap hardly ever exceeds 2".  It is among my favorite mushrooms;
