   Haven't been here for a while and was glad to find the postings about   
   your ambition to ID everyting in your yard. There will be lots of tiny   
   things on dead herbs that needs magnified photos - and you'll need a   
   magnifying glass to see them too :-)

   At least one I can help you with: The "puffballs" are mature   
   fruitbodies of the common slime mold Lycogala epidendrum.
