From: riburr@shentel.net              Various Boletes:              Don't know this one. The closest I can find in my favorite guide is       Boletus hortonii, but this one has a very white pore surface, no yellow.        The corrugated cap is distinctive. Does not bruise at all. No       bitterness. I would have tried eating it if it was not completely       perforated by bugs; See:       http://www.flickr.com/photos/63108152@N00/2954903700/sizes/o/              http://www.flickr.com/photos/63108152@N00/2954056835/sizes/o/              A red pored Bolete. I need to get a good Bolete field guide. Our woods       are often full of 'em; See:       http://www.flickr.com/photos/63108152@N00/2954905806/sizes/o/              Suillus pictus:       http://www.flickr.com/photos/63108152@N00/2954957508/sizes/o/                     --       I can tell your future just look what's in your hand...              - Robert Hunter              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
