   When trying a mushroom for the 1st time, I'll usually slice it thin and   
   fry it in a pan with just butter.  Sprinkle some salt on it and eat it   
   on a piece of lightly toasted bread.  Only takes a couple minutes, and   
   you get a true taste of the mushroom.
