From: mobahner@t-online.de              Hi all,              we want to start a scientific international mailing list about mushrooms       where authors and other experts will take part.              We have everything basically set up - a domain with a website leading to a       potential mailing list etc.              However, all our attempts at finding a free (university) server to host the       mailing list were somewhat futile. We sent an email to the Univ. of Kansas       admins - who already host Taxacom. However, our mail probably got lost in       some spam filter. We also tried the Harvard mailing list admin, however they       requested a Harvard email address (which we don't have) in order to give us       an access code. We also tried the University of Regensburg (Germany) server       admins and they seemed to be very cooperative, however we couldn't reach       them for several weeks now, after initial contact looked very promising.              Does someone know a university or college server which would be willing to       host such a mailing list? (We don't want to use "commercial" free servers,       as these usually are not very reliable and/or send a lot of spam, which our       intended audience would not tolerate).              Regards,              Werner G.
