|    Fall finds    |

From: riburr@shentel.net              Had a chance to go into the woods last week. There's still stuff out       there. It's hunting season, so acute lead poisoning is a real concern       over and above mushroom poisoning. Sundays are safe; no hunting, so       many fewer stray lead projectiles. All finds were on old, fallen wood.        Here're some pictures:              I think this is mature Hypholoma sublateritium. You can see       purple-black spore print on the lower caps:       http://www.flickr.com/photos/63108152@N00/5190697767/sizes/m/              Don't know what this is, but you can see gills in the specimen at top       left. Gills are distant, broad and attached, at least in the photo.       didn't take a spore print. Purple color around edge of cap is interesting:       http://www.flickr.com/photos/63108152@N00/5190697917/sizes/m/              Also found some nice size Panellus serotinus, but didn't get a righteous       picture.              --       Mushroom blog:       http://ftvmushrooms.blogspot.com              The adpReview blog is being revised.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
