   Was walking around the yard eagerly anticipating spring.  Found some   
   crust fungus on a fallen oak branch that was pretty tints of pastel pink   
   and blue.  Might be a Peniophora sp., but something else caught my eye;   
   numerous strange paired dark marks graffitied the light colored fungus.   
     I can only think the marks were made by the teeth of a varmint,   
   probably a mouse, rat or squirrel...  See:
