From: riburr@shentel.net              Am enjoying sauteed Amanita rubescens and rice. These are coming up in       the forest which is my yard, along with other Amanita. The flavor is       very good, tempered only by the caution required when eating Amanita.       So far, no ill effects at all, just the desire to eat more battling with       the caution to limit intake, just in case. Am interested in how these       compare visually to European Blushers, as some say they might be a       different species? Sliced mushrooms cooked down quite a bit. Very       savory, mouthwatering, almost addictive flavor.
