   These come up in the same spot every early autumn.  It is a psychoactive   
   Gymnopilus, and from the intense yellow I'm thinking G. luteus.  This   
   photo does not do the beauty of this mushroom justice.  The yellow is   
   *much* more vibrant, almost day-glow, and this is seeing it without any   
   mind expansion.  I neglected to adjust my camera's white balance, and so   
   the color is less than true; See:
