   Found a blog article that describes the method I will use to smoke   
   mushrooms.  The stove-top smoker used is the same as I have.  Fresh   
   mushrooms are stirred in a bowl w/olive oil and salt.  (I'm anxious to   
   also try bacon grease in place of oil, just as an experiment.)  The   
   mushrooms are then smoked.  I have ready access to at least ten   
   different woods suitable for smoking in the forest that is my yard.   
   Since this is a hot-smoke method, it should be adequate for preparing   
   wild mushrooms that require cooking to be rendered safe for eating.
