   Nice.  The roads in the National Forest near me are still closed.  The   
   US Forest Service closes them in late winter to limit erosion.  But,   
   they should open shortly, probably this coming weekend.  There is a spot   
   on the other side of the mountain directly behind my house that looks   
   promising for morels, although I've never checked it before.  It's about   
   an hour hike to get across the mountain on foot.  Will check it   
   tomorrow.  Happy feasting.   
      
   I don't ever remember it being this warm this early.  The ticks are   
   already coming out in force.
