   Hiked over the mountain yesterday.  Weather is very warm and dry, and   
   since there are no leaves on the trees yet I got lots of sun.  Didn't   
   find any morel action at all, but the area I searched was new for me.   
   Finding ticks on me, though.   
      
   News reports are saying the 2012 morel season is running about a month   
   earlier than usual.  This winter was officially the warmest on record by   
   astronomical definition for Washington, D.C.  See:
