   Starting to find a variety of things.  The only choice find was Black   
   Trumpets, Craterellus fallax, found in the usual spot year after year in   
   my yard.  The wife prepared these with butter and onion, and cooked them   
   in an egg and cheese omelet, with a dab of salsa.  Quite possibly the   
   best omelet I ever tasted.  See:

   Also found these growing on a well-rotted log.  ID suggestions are

   Several other finds photographed over the last few days including Waxy   
   Caps and sac fungi including a Helvella.  Photos are mediocre, and so   
   unlinked.
