   That's my objection to leaving the pores, they cook down into slime.   
   So, my preference is to remove them.  Some bolete species have pore   
   layers that strongly adhere, others are more easily cleaned.  I was just   
   wondering if slicing, or halving, or quartering would help make   
   deporing/deporting(?)/deportation(?) clean and quick.
