|    More pickled Laetiporus    |

From: riburr@shentel.net              Found a nice Laetiporus sulphureus growing top-dead center of an oak       stump in the front yard. The entire mushroom was soft and moist, and       suitable for eating. Harvested mushroom weighed 14 oz., and with a       sliced medium onion filled a quart canning jar perfectly after pickling.        The beautiful vivid yellow pore surface paled considerable with pickling.              See mushroom:       http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5452/9548189167_699a7894cd_z.jpg              Pickled:       http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3718/9553452649_b7357181f4_z.jpg              Yes, I should replace the rusty lid, but I didn't have any good lids       available. I forecast the mushrooms will be consumed in short order.                                   --       Experimental a.d.p. web forum:       http://adp.freeforums.net/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
