Bucketfulls of Amanita muscaria here for some reason, or there would be
bucketfulls if I was collecting them in buckets for some mass siberian
beserking session or suchlike. Boletus edulis made a brief appearance but
now seem to have gone to bed. We're missing the storm up here in the north.
I always find storms strangely comforting but mourn the windthrow that
inevitably results. The storm of early 2012 that was quaintly named
"Hurricane Bawbag" by the popular Scottish press pretty much obliterated a
good spruce plantation I used to foray in.
