   Dry now here in Virginia, USA.  Had some frosts and a freeze.  Fallen   
   leaves are getting thick on the forest floor.  Had some luck a couple   
   weeks back after 4" of soaking rain over several days.  But, we seem to   
   be in an extended dry period since then.
