   First marinated them raw.  They developed a very pronounced odor of   
   seafood, somewhat like crab, that wasn't unpleasant at all, just kinda   
   strange.  Boiled them for about 10 mins. and put into a canning jar to   
   cool and season.  Texture is granular which is also kinda strange.   
   Might try frying next time to see if it does anything to the texture.  I   
   wouldn't rate them as being a "good" edible, but they're passable.
