   I'd like to think so.  It is in the area I seeded because of all the   
   Russulas I find there.  Only the single one so far, but many Russulas   
   growing nearby.  The ones I find growing deeper in the forest are always   
   in pine duff.  The one in my yard has a hickory as its closest neighbor.   
     There's a pine stand close by, but it's not in the immediate vicinity.
