From: nochance@nospam.no              At another top secret location yesterday I discovered this horrible site....              http://treelike.ndo.co.uk/img_3366.jpg              Hundreds of Boletus edulis, every single one in a rotting, mummified state       and covered in Bolete eater mould. Heartbreaking of course for me, as these       would have been in an edible state a couple of weeks ago. It's like there's       been a window of a couple of weeks to collect them, brought on by heavy rain       in early August. Also saw fly agarics, coconut milk caps, Cantharellus and       many others but expect things to die down now with lack of recent rain. Many       of the fly agarics had curiously long thin stems; I wonder if this is due to       the fairly calm conditions meaning that the stems don't need to be so sturdy       to hold the caps and the caps need to get higher to spread the spores.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
