|    File extension not saving with file    |

From: mrsbeeblebrock@xtra.com.nz              Hi, when I save a file that has been emailed in Netscape Mail, I have to       manually append the 3-letter file type after the file name - eg .wmv,       .ttf etc to be able to use the file later. I cannot open and play .wmv       files without first saving them, fixing the extension and then opening       them in my media player.              To get these file types to automatically open and or save, I am assuming       they need to be set up in Prefs/Helper Apps. Is there a particular MIME       type I need to insert, or can I just put whatever I want in the top two       boxes with .ttf and .wmv as the extension? If not, what should I put as       the MIME type and description?              Thanks in advance,       Jo              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
