   The "news.server.name.rc" file in your profile's \*.slt\News   
   folder can be reset by editing it in Notepad.  Close 7.1 before doing so.   
      
   If the file's contents looks like this:   
      
   alt.netscape: 1-54264,54266   
   alt.fan.mozilla: 1-18717   
   news.newusers.questions: 1-598641   
   comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.storage: 1-299992   
      
   Change it to this:   
      
   alt.netscape: 1-   
   alt.fan.mozilla: 1-   
   news.newusers.questions: 1-   
   comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.storage: 1-
