   Netscape 8 is a BROWSER only (with IM addition)   
   it is based on Firefox   
   it is intended as a replacement/alternative to AOL's IE based browser   
   it is not intended to be a replacement for Mozilla suite (1.7.8) and its   
   derivitive of Netscape 7   
   it is not available for Linux and/or Macintosh
