   Netscape isnt Netscape, its AOL    
      
   Netscape is simply a brand name of AOL, there is really no one at   
   Netscape anymore   
      
   Netscape 8 is intended as a replacement/alternative for AOL's IE based   
   browser.   
   It doesnt do email or news   
   Its not available for mac or linux   
   If you are not using AOL's IE based browser, then the product really   
   isnt intended for you.   
      
   You would be better off using Firefox (which is what Netscape 8 is based   
   on) and Thunderbird
