   It's been interesting to see the answers to my question. Although my   
   computer isn't brand new (2 yrs old), I never did get bit by   
   'upgrade-itis' and having to have the newest of whatever simply   
   because it was the newest of whatever. Upgrades to software and   
   programmes, yes, AV and AT definitions, yes but browsers weren't high   
   up on my 'to do' list.   
      
   I'm currently trying out Firefox, but the newer Netscape seems to be   
   buggier (lurking and reading posts for a very long time now), so   
   that's why I asked in the first place.
