From: shark360@rochester.rr.com               I tried the site and found that if I were to use the rendering engine of       IE in NS8 I do get the MIDI sound.               If it crashes on you when you do this then there is a conflict with the       flash plugin in NS8. It has to do with the NPSWF32.DLL which is what NS8       uses to redender in with FireFox. They sometimes don't like to play nice,       at least in my experience w/NS8. So what I did was to go into the Netscape       folder and then into the plugin folder which is where you will find this       .dll and deleted it from the folder.               This is a simple work around and has made my experience w/NS8 much more       pleasurble. If you go to a site that uses flash and you trust this site       then use the IE rendering engine, but don't do this unless you do. If not       just ignore NS8 when it asks you to download the flash plugin.               Hope this helps...        Joe       "Robert Baer" |
