Netscape 8 is intended as a replacement/alternative to AOL's IE based
browser. It isnt available for Linux or Macintosh.

If you are not using AOL's IE based browser, then I suggest that you use
   Firefox and Thunderbird instead.
Netscape 8 is a derivitive of Firefox, yes, but it has add-ons intended
to emulate the IE interaction with the AOL system, most internet users
will be as well served with Firefox/Thunderbird combo.
