How do I locate what the "default application" is, and       > is there a way to select a different default application?              AFAIK that is a Windows setting. The default application is the       application configured in your Windows file associations.              Exactly how to set it can depend on your version of Windows,       but this is one way here on Win98.              1. Save the attachment to your hard drive,        allowing Netscape to set the file extension.              2. Select the saved file in Windows explorer.        Then hold down the Shift key, right-click on the        highlighted file, and choose "Open With..." from        the right-click menu.              3. In the "Open With" dialog, put a checkmark in the box        "Always use this program to open this type of file",        then select the application.                     --       Cheers,       Ralph              "He who dares not offend cannot be honest." -- Thomas Paine              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
